About this app

A companion for everyday Catholic prayer. It holds a growing collection of prayers and, once installed, works without an internet connection.

How it was made

This app was built by Claude, an AI model created by Anthropic, using material provided to it and under the guidance of Keith Francis (GitHub: keithintrinidad).

The collection began with the Prayers for Catholics leaflet of the Parish of the Assumption, supplied by Keith Francis. All of its prayers are included, and further traditional prayers have been added at his direction, with more to come. He directed the app’s content, features and packaging through conversation with Claude, but did not write the code directly.

It is a companion to Rosary Helper (repo) and Bread of the Presence (repo), made the same way.

Licence

This app, including its code, design and arrangement of content, is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

You are free to share it and to adapt it, on these terms:

Attribution. Give appropriate credit to Claude (Anthropic) as the builder and Keith Francis as the person who provided the material and directed its creation, link to the licence, and say if you made changes.
NonCommercial. It may never be sold, or bundled into anything that is sold.
ShareAlike. Any version built from it must be shared under this same licence, so every copy stays free.

This summary is not a substitute for the licence itself. The prayer texts are traditional and are not claimed as original work. The typefaces, Cormorant Garamond and Spectral, are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
